eeeee! (that is a noise)

That is the noise that I made when I saw this... it a noise of excitement. Haha... okay so here is something you should look at... Islam in Europe Interactive Map! It’s a map of Muslims in Europe and the Mediterranean that have migrated from northern Africa. Over Missions Conference I got to speak with missionaries who served with Greater Europe Mission and got a glimpse of their heart. They serve among Muslims who have migrated and are not living in Europe. Christianity is almost dead in Europe and even Catholic Churches outside of France are saying the Catholic Church in France needs a spiritual revival, since it has become culturally catholic. I think this is so exciting… not that the Muslim population is increasing like crazy, but that we can be a light in a place like this. There are barely any true Christ followers in Europe, which is why the Church needs to rise up and be there. Isn’t it exciting to see Muslims in this context but all the more sad? It’s a weird emotion, that’s for sure. I am so intrigued by Muslims living, struggling, and trying to make life work in a western setting. The movie “Yasmin” is an interesting movie to watch about a women who is struggling to live as a westerner in Britain and to stay true to being a Muslim. It is such a good movie, I highly recommend it.
(Sorry that was super scattered).

Hi!

I'm a Christian living in Manchester UK, and where i live in Rusholme there is a strong muslim presence, infact christians may well be the minority. however there's a church over the road from my house that regularly has services of around 200 people 3 times on a sunday, and there's several mega churches in the UK including Abundant Life Church in Bradford, definately Christ loving, Soul Survivor in London and loads more that are full of Christ loving people willing to serve God in their lives.

I would like to see more outreach in Europe too, especially in the UK where there's growing islamophobia, we shouldn't be angry towards them or reject them, but we should love them in a Christ like way that shows his love for the whole of humanity.
