The Hardest Year of my Life

The hardest year of my life is almost over! I seriously cannot believe it. In 21 days I will be a graduate! Holy crap... I will have my Masters in Urban Education.

This year has been the hardest and sweetest year of my life for the following reasons:
  1. Balancing masters course work along with teaching
  2. Learning how to be a teacher with constant feedback
  3. Cultural adjusting to Memphis
  4. Finding a new church
  5. Building new friendships
  6. Being apart of an organization that is still very new... but still very sweet
  7. BEST PART: loving my students... I LOVE THEM.
I am going to be a disaster come May 17th. I don't know how I am going to say good bye to them. It is so hard knowing I will probably not see them again since I will be teaching Monday through Friday next year... so there is no chance to go see them! Man, I love my babies.

Please pray that I get things done the next few weeks. Thesis is due next week, poster presentation the following week. I am teaching everything until school gets out.

I love y'all.
